TRUSTEES

Jahan Moghadam – Chair

Jahan serves as a Trustee and is on the Board of Directors of ShareACause.  He is an executive for WorldWide Solutions and WorldWide Energy. Jahan is published and an invited speaker at leading institutions and conferences around the world.   Jahan has visited many originations and orphanages to donate clothes, supplies, and funds that have been contributed from events, friends and family. Over the years, Jahan has been involved with several nonprofit organizations, which includes but is not limited to: Red Cross, The Humane Society, Make-A-Wish, JustCauz, several D.C. based shelters and charities, and the University of Virginia (UVA).  He is also part of the weekend warrior crew delivering food, bottles of water and clothing to the homeless community in Washington D.C. Jahan holds a B.S. with Honors from James Madison University, an M.S. from UVA, and a Doctorate in Business from Georgia State University. He currently sits on the Advisory Board for the McIntire School at UVA, along with several other originations, helping raise awareness and donations.  Jahan enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, meeting new people, is an avid sports fan, and animal lover.

Thuy Tran

Thuy serves as Trustee of ShareACause and provides IT support for ShareACause. She works for United Solutions, a MD based company focused on AI and blockchain technologies. Other charities that she is passionate about are:The Kelly Foundation – Native American Education Program, Food Bank for New York City, Dream Big Foundation – Feeding NYC, International Medical Corp, Global Giving Foundation, the Humane Society, and Center for Urban Community Services. Thuy is a graduate of James Madison University. She grew up in Northern Virginia but moved to Manhattan for the food. She loves trying new restaurants, running around the city with her family, catching up with friends, traveling to just about anywhere, and is always up for trying something new.

Leana Derbarghamian

Reina serves on the Board of Directors of ShareACause. She is a Mortgage Advisor at Supreme Lending and a Consultant at Preston Wealth Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisory firm in Reston, VA. She holds a B.B.A. with a concentration in Finance and a M.B.A. with a concentration in International Business from the George Washington University. In attending her executive program,  she had the opportunity to travel to and study emerging and developing markets such as Ethiopia and Turkey. She is part of the weekend warrior crew delivering food, bottles of water and clothing to the homeless community in Washington DC. She brings lots of energy and creativity to all events. Reina loves spending time with her husband, Sherif, and their 3 kids who she refers to as Z3, enjoys good conversations, being with family and friends, music, arts and crafts, event planning, and traveling the world. Reina is also a member of the International Business Honor’s Society, Beta Gamma Sigma.

Reina Jabbour – Vice

Reina serves on the Board of Directors of ShareACause. She is a Wealth Advisor and the VP of Institutional Sales for Preston Wealth Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisory firm in Reston, VA. She recently graduated from the World Executive M.B.A. program at George Washington University where she had the opportunity to travel to and study emerging and developing markets such as Ethiopia and Turkey. She is part of the weekend warrior crew delivering food, bottles of water and clothing to the homeless community in Washington DC. She brings lots of energy and creativity to all events. She loves good conversations, being with family and friends, music, arts and crafts, event planning, and traveling the world. Reina holds a B.B.A from the George Washington University with a major in Finance and a MBA from the George Washington University with a concentration in International Business. Reina is also a member of the International Business Honor’s Society, Beta Gamma Sigma.

Star Morrad

Star serves on the Board of Directors of Share A Cause. She is a Washington D.C. native, and a resident of Arlington County. She is the Director of Operations for Superstar.com, which is a leading independent ticket market place nationwide. Star has always had a passion for philanthropy. She has helped raise funds for various non-profit organizations, volunteered with Miriam’s Soup Kitchen, assisted with donation drives for international refugees, passed out food, clothing, and toiletries to local shelters, and homeless communities. She has even stretched far across the globe to fund a water well project in the town of Meymana, Afghanistan to supply safe clean drinking water for children attending segregated school, and its surrounding community. Her patronage led her to receive the Keller Williams Culture Ambassador Award in 2013. In her free time, Star enjoys spending time with her family, friends, reading, cooking and traveling.

Omar Sider

Omar is an advisory board member of ShareACause. He is a President of SuperStarTickets, where fans can buy and sell tickets to sports, concerts and theatre events nationwide. He is a member of the National Ticket Broker Association, and the Ticket Broker Council for TicketNetwork.  Each year, SuperStarTickets donates tickets to  the Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club, Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House, and many nonprofits in the local community. Omar was born and raised in Arlington, VA and is a graduate of Leadership of Arlington – class of 2013. He has worked with Miriam’s Kitchen, helping serve food and passing out clothing to the less fortunate. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing chess, stock market, crypto, and poker.

Jangela Shumskas

Jangela has been actively involved in her community for decades.  She began a community recycling program at age 12 and has volunteered with dozens of local organizations in both the DC and Baltimore metropolitan areas.  She has served as a docent at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, participated in several bike-a-thons for charities including Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Food & Friends, and the Pan-Mass Challenge, and walked for the National Psoriasis Foundation and the Walter Whitman Clinic.  She currently volunteers within the local community through Martha’s Table and creates art for auction to benefit local non-profits through www.pinxit-luc.com.   Jangela holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She began graduate studies at American University, School of International Affairs with a concentration in International Economic Policy.  She completed her MA in Strategic Security Studies at the National Defense University, College of International Security Affairs.  When she isn’t teaching or practicing yoga or hanging out with her family, she is busy working as a Senior Innovation Strategist for National Security and Health Security programs.

Jeff King

Jeff serves on the Board of Directors of ShareACause. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Jeff was able to acquire the hands-on experience necessary to run businesses at a very young age.  Jeff is the President of J King & Associates, which specializes in the acquisition and development of commercial and residential projects in the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia areas. He is also the VP Potomac Companies, which he specializes in residential and commercial development is the Managing Partner of YUME/Kyojin restaurant groups .  Jeff has been involved with several nonprofit organizations, which includes but is not limited to: The Kassir Foundation, The Humane Society, National Wild Turkey Federation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and several local homeless charities, and he is part of the weekend warrior crew. Jeff is a graduate of James Madison University with a degree in Small Business Management.  He enjoys going to CAPs games with friends, and lives with his dog Duke.

Shoeleh Rahnama

Shoeleh services on the Board of Directors of ShareACause.  She is the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Executives. She currently leads a highly productive firm of more than 100 agents with four offices across Northern Virginia. In addition to leading a successful brokerage, Shoeleh has been involved with several non-profit charitable organizations. In an effort to help kids in the community, She has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to make regular donations. This year, two of her offices were labeled “Miracle Offices” because of the amount of donations provided. Shoeleh also makes regular donations to the local women’s shelters and is an active participant in making her community a better place. In her free time, Shoeleh enjoys spending time with her twin boys and playing with her Frenchie, Myko. She also enjoys fitness and exercise, cooking, shopping, and traveling. Shoeleh holds a Degree in Biology and several certificates and licenses in real estate sales and management. She also serves on the Board of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors.

VJ Derbarghamian

VJ serves on the Advisory Board and has been involved with ShareACause since 2013.  He is a Real Estate agent at TTR Sotheby’s International, with over 10+ yeas in sales, marketing, and management experience.  VJ help spread the ShareACause message by holding events in the Newark area, and has been a big supporter of the local overseas organizations bringing awareness to children in need. VJ has a B.S. in Finance Seton Hall University.  He is a loving father who enjoys his time with this family and friends.

Tony Hudgins

Tony serves on the Advisory Board and has been involved with ShareACause since 2013.  He is an executive at TransitScreen in Washington D.C..  Tony has resided in D.C. for 25+ years, being involved in a many organizations and events. He has assisted ShareACause raise over $20,000 at the last One Sweet World Gala.  Tony has a B.S. in Economics from Indiana University, and a J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law. He is a restaurateur, sports fan, avid supporter of local businesses, and loves spending time with his family and friends.

Miles Mattingly

Miles serves a advisory  member of and has been involved with ShareACause since 2011.  He is a director at Wireless Solutions.  Miles studied Communications at the University of Maryland. He recently lived in the D.C. area, Los Angeles, and currently Atlanta.  Miles has spread the ShareACause message and held events in each location expanding the charitable mission in each area, which includes local toy drives during the holiday season.  Miles is a enthusiastic golfer, loves sports, and is the proud father of two Great Danes.
